The coolant is very energy efficient as it has a good rating of 9.4, which means it will keep the electricity bills down and is not a threat to your wallet. Design and Architecture

The LG Corp. However, it may not be very effective in larger rooms with high ceilings. For that purpose, one can go for the bigger size air conditioner of the same unit. The heat exchange coils are very safe in this coolant as it has a unique auto cleaning feature, which keeps a guard on these coils.

Features that I liked

LG Corp. LP1213GXR is a perfect solution for your cooling needs. I got this machine 6 months ago, and for me, it works like magic. I have other brand air conditioners too in my house, but I usually prefer this one because of its unique features.

ü  It is portable and small in size, making it easy for me to install it anywhere I like.

ü  Because it has integrated castors, I can move it to other windows without any difficulty.

ü  The windows kit is customizable and you can adjust it according to the size of your window.

ü  I am personally obsessed with the cooling ability of this air conditioner. With a power of 12000 BTU’s, it cools my 400 square feet room in less than 10 minutes.

ü  The oscillating fan mode is great, as it keeps spreading the air evenly in all the possible directions. So you don’t need to sit in front of it to experience its breeze.

ü  There are three fan speed modes for you to choose. I prefer keeping it on three, however not everyone would like to be a polar bear.

ü  It is an energy saving air conditioning unit, which not only keeps the environment safe, but also maintains a friendly relationship with your pocket.

ü  The LG Corp. LP1213GXR has auto-cleaning feature which evaporates the excessive moisture from the heat coils. It also puts a check on the breeding of bacteria, preventing bad smell or mildew.

ü  It is quite easy to check and clean air filters. If you want a steady air throw, you should clean it once in two weeks, and it will be fine.

ü  The best thing about LG Corp. LP1213GXR is its complete one year warranty covering parts and labour services, which doesn’t play any tricks with you.

ü  The price of this machine will keep you interested in getting one more piece of this unit.

Things that I didn’t liked about it

There is not much that I can say against this air conditioner, but still there are some glitches in its system which could have been removed.

v  The air conditioner is very noisy and has a noise level of 55dBA, which is quite disturbing to normal human ears.

v  By any chance if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend you to install it somewhere close to your bedroom, but obviously not in it.

v  The air conditioner creates negative airflow in your room.

v  Because it is a single hose cooling system, the air-conditioner uses the air present in room. So if you have placed it in a closed room, it is possible that you would hear some hissing sounds coming from the cracks and spaces in your door.

v  The draining system of this air conditioner is not so good and you would require placing a container just underneath it.

Conclusion

Overall this cooling machine is suitable for those who want superior cooling. It air conditioner is powerful enough to cool a room size of 400 square feet. The oscillating fan keeps hot spots away from your room.  At a price like that, this conditioner serves enough to buy it.
